On Thursday March 21, the annual Powderpuff game was held on the UC High football field. Powderpuff is a game of flag football in which eleventh grade girls play twelfth grade girls. Traditionally, football players of the same class coach the girls, and boys act as the cheerleaders on the sidelines. This game is also a fundraiser for the upperclassmen. The money from ticket sales go to the Senior Class and the money raised from the snack bar goes to the Junior Class.
This year, the 2019 Senior Class took a victory over the Junior Class with a final score of 13-6. Despite inclement weather, the game saw a large student turnout. Pictured above, both the Junior and Senior Teams come together after the game.
