Sophia Lewis-Mussa, Photo Editor
Sophia Lewis-Mussa is a junior at University City High School and has been a part of the journalism department for two consecutive years. This year, she is the Commander’s Photo Editor and spends a lot of her time messing with film photography and lomography. In addition to photography, Sophia spends all of her long-term free time traveling the world, and was an exchange student in Costa Rica during a semester of her sophomore year. This summer, she plans on traveling to Peru for a month, where she will work in jungle conservation in the Amazon Rainforest. When Sophia is out of high school, she hopes to attend the University of Hawaii to study Marine Biology and become an intern for an NGO working in coral reef conservation. Some of her hobbies include ceramics, slacklining, snorkeling, surfing, and writing poetry.
