Despite being in his first year of journalism, Senior Sawyer Landrey has risen to the rank of News Editor, along with his co-editor, Aaron Asch. As President of the Surfrider club, Vice President of the UC High Robotics Team, and a Varsity Academic League member, Landrey holds a variety of influential positions, where (among other things) he conducts microplastic research, organizes beach cleanups, pursues robotics and engineering outreach activities, and continues to prove his knowledge of science and humanities. He prides himself in his dedication to engineering and STEM concepts, and volunteers and mountain bikes in his spare time.
