Staff writer Ghada Atalla was born and lived in San Diego. Atalla is from Egypt and he is bilingual. He speaks Arabic and English. This is his second year as a staff writer for the University City High School Newspaper. He started drawing when he was very young. Ever since then he has always been into art. He has many passions like art, photography, and writing. He used his hobbies to convey his emotions and to speak up about important topics. In journalism you get an opportunity to write about topics that are taboo and spread awareness. That is what made him want to join journalism.
