Emi Zeger, Editor-in-Chief
As an Editor-in-Chief, Emi Zeger is excited to do her best to improve the student paper. She was hooked onto journalism in middle school helping produce the Standley Spectrum, and writing for The Commander has taken her through all four years of high school. She worked as a News Editor for two years, and in fact, she and her Co-News Editor from last year are now Editor-in-Chiefs together. In her limited free time, Emi enjoys reading fantasy, playing clarinet, being with her cats, or taking a walk through nature, whether it is the beach or the desert. Emi hopes to produce an accurate, thought-provoking, informative and enjoyable paper. She encourages students to voice their opinions through letters to the editor and welcomes any newspaper suggestions.
