Athlete: Senior Travis Nicklaw

Position: Center Middle/ Forward for the Varsity Boys Soccer Team

Experience: Nicklaw has played soccer his entire life.

Background: The UC High Soccer Team is ranked fifth in San Diego and twenty-ninth in California, according to Maxpreps (maxpreps.com). Nicklaw is also a punter and kicker for the UC High Football Team and a member of the track team. According to Nicklaw, his most memorable soccer moment was winning CIF last year. He hopes to win this year as well. Nicklaw plans to go to San Diego State with a soccer scholarship. Nicklaw says that he is good at being aware and reading the game, and he excels at speed and technical skill with the ball.
